We planning to go to Pailin to get away for the New Year and ended up staying in the Eco Lodge which was a circular stone building with an outdoor bathroom. The room had lots of privacy and the staff were consistently warm and welcoming - they made every effort to make us feel comfortable.
Staff also assisted us in renting a moto to go explore the town and nearby was which was beautiful and helped us set up transport back to Phnom Penh. We ate dinner at the resort most nights and the food was consistently delicious - the pumpkin soup, especially, was bangin'.
The only one thing that we would like to see in the future is a safe in the room to protect valuables. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the place to anyone looking for a quiet get-away.
